By accessing or using Albatross ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Albatross LLC ("we," "us," or "our").
Albatross is a fantasy golf application that allows users to create and participate in private golf pools with friends. Users form groups, select golfers for upcoming tournaments, and compete based on real-world player performance. Albatross is designed for private friend groups where participants know each other — it is not a daily fantasy sports (DFS) platform, sportsbook, or wagering service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Albatross. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction and that your use of the App complies with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Pools are private, invite-only contests among known participants. Each pool is created by a commissioner who invites members using a unique invite code. Albatross does not operate as a bookmaker, sportsbook, or pari-mutuel wagering platform. Any prize arrangements among pool members are organized privately by participants and are not processed, facilitated, or guaranteed by Albatross.
Albatross offers the following in-app purchase options:
Per-Pool Purchase: A one-time purchase of $4.99 (USD) to create a single pool.
Monthly Subscription: $9.99/month (USD) for unlimited pool creation. Subscription automatically renews each month.
Annual Subscription: $99.99/year (USD) for unlimited pool creation. Subscription automatically renews each year.
Joining a pool created by someone else is always free.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to subscription benefits until that date.
No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies.
You agree not to: (a) use the App for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts; (c) manipulate or abuse the scoring or pick systems; (d) share your account credentials with third parties; (e) use automated tools or bots to interact with the App; (f) harass, threaten, or abuse other users through the in-pool chat feature.
All content, design, trademarks, and code within Albatross are the property of Albatross LLC and its licensors. Player statistics, odds, and golf data are provided by third-party services under license. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App or its content without express written permission.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Player statistics, predictions, course analysis, and odds data are for informational and entertainment purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data displayed in the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Albatross LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to any losses from pool participation, data loss, or service interruptions.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
